The Creative Direction
The concept behind What Remains on the Surface centers on presence and continuity.
Objects were selected for how they signal use without feeling unfinished. Rather than creating a perfectly staged environment, this collection embraces visual memory and material depth.
Materials Mood
The palette favors depth over polish and texture over gloss. Resin introduces sculptural rhythm, while unglazed porcelain adds tactile contrast. Ebonized cherry brings warmth and shadow, travertine adds natural variation, and glass captures movement and light. Ceramic lighting adds dimension. Color appears in subtle moments through blue porcelain, burnt red metal, amber glass, and butter-toned ceramic.

Shipping Information
Our collections are thoughtfully sourced from independent artists who produce in small batches. Because these items are primarily made-to-order, please allow a 6–8 week lead time for your bundle to be crafted and arrive on-site. You will be invoiced for your bundle in full, including final shipping costs, once your order details are confirmed.
Return or Exchange Policy
Our accessory bundles are expertly curated and negotiated to provide a bespoke aesthetic with off-the-shelf reliability. Because many of these items are sourced from small-batch artists and committed to production upon your order, the following terms apply:
- Final Sale: All commercial bundle orders are Final Sale. As these items are produced in small batches specifically for your project’s lead time (6–8 weeks), we cannot accept returns or provide refunds. However, we understand the complexities of commercial design so should a unique issue or project shift arise, please reach out to us directly. We review requests for special exceptions on a case-by-case basis. In the rare event an exception is made, a minimum 20% restocking fee and all return freight costs will apply to cover the artisanal sourcing and labor.
- Order Confirmation & Cancellation: You have a 24-hour window from the time of invoice payment to cancel or modify your order. After this period, funds are committed to our artist partners, and production begins.
- Damages & Shortages: Upon delivery to the project site, please inspect all items immediately. Any claims for transit damage or shortages must be submitted in writing with photographic evidence within 48 hours of receipt. We will prioritize a replacement or professional repair at no cost to the designer.
- Natural Variations: Due to the artisanal, small-batch nature of our sourced items, minor variations in finish, texture, and color are expected and celebrated as part of the bespoke quality. These are not considered defects.
